I'm watching the recent repeat of the NBC show "Las Vegas" off the TiVo tonight, and there's a scene where one casino host uses a PDA to steal customer files from one of the show regulars. Well, the two devices get a screen shot together, and while the main character, Sam, is using a Pocket PC device, the "bad guy" is using a slightly disguised Tapwave Zodiac! The prop designers did a good job making it look like the devices were talking to each other. You could see the Bluetooth LED flashing on the Zodiac, some sort of green LED flashing on the PPC, and a "transferring" UI showing on the Zodiac screen. Later in the show, a "log window" on the PPC reveals an IR data transfer that points back to the bad guy. It's neat to see a little cross promotion for the Zodiac on prime time TV, even though the Pocket PC device gets more screen time.
