As a developer, it's really useful to be able to run network applications on a device, and one of the best tools has been Softick PPP, which lets you setup a network connection over your USB or serial cradle or Bluetooth interface. They just did an update of this to version 2.19 which fixes a bunch of bugs and adds IrDA support, allowing you to run a network connection off your IR port! One nice way to use this is to host a Bluetooth PPP connection to a Tungsten T3 while also debugging your application over USB.
