Combee on Palm OS

Over the weekend, I've been getting everything ready for the new weblog. For palmoswerks, I used Userland's Manila as a web-based content management system, and while it worked well, it had a poorly constructed RSS feed and I had to use a dedicated hosting service to serve the site. For this one, I'm using Fog Creek Software's CityDesk system to manage the site. This is a very nice content-management system that has a basic template language useful for publishing news sites, web logs, knowledge bases, or any other article-driven website.

My goal with "Combee on Palm OS" is to make a site that will point to resources that are useful for developers building software for Palm OS devices. I'll be covering the whole range of software development, from low-level system interactions to choosing a useful RAD tool for making a database system. I admit to having a CodeWarrior bias, as that's my background, but I'll be covering other tools from all around the Palm OS economy.

I probably won't be writing long articles here. Those will be written for the PalmSource developer knowledgebase or web site. I'll post pointers to those resources here, however. I'll be pointing to other Palm OS and PDA sites, such as the always useful Palm Infocenter and brighthand. Think of this site as the liner notes for the album that's the PalmSource knowledge base.
