While the PalmSource developer forums are my favorite Palm OS developer community, they don't have a monopoly on discussions, especially if you're using an alternate development environment. One of the earliest external forums was a news server run by Darrin Massena back in 1997. In 2002, it moved to news.falch.net, and last year, it moved again to news.superwaba.net, hosted by the SuperWaba development team. This news server hosts groups under the pilot.programmer hierarchy, including groups on specific tools including CodeWarrior, prc-tools, and, of course, SuperWaba. According to posts made today, they had been down for several weeks as part of a relocation to a new data center, but they should be up and stable now that the transition is over.
If you need a good news client to access these groups, I'd recommend Mozilla Thunderbird. It's what I use to read groups and post replies for the news servers that I monitor. It has a nice user interface, and works on multiple platforms, including Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. I've also used SuperGravity in the past, and I've heard good things about Xnews.
